Dolce&Gabbana residences setting sail on Spain’s Costa del Sol

Development is underway for Dolce&Gabbana’s first branded residences in Europe on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol.
The Italian fashion house has partnered with Spanish real estate developer Sierra Blanca Estates to realize the project in Marbella on the Mediterranean coast.

The details of the development, Design Hills Dolce&Gabbana Marbella, were announced in September.
Situated on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, the elegant, design-forward complex is inspired by the “golden ratio” to blend in with both the natural landscape and local Spanish-Muslim architecture. The façades will feature white glazed-ceramic tiles.
The 92 residences will be furnished by Dolce&Gabbana Casa, all exclusive to Design Hills.
Ranging from 3,000 to over 9,600 square feet, the residences have primary suites complete with dressing, makeup and massage rooms along with private outdoor spaces with sea views.
Community spaces in each building include rooftop terraces and pools, solariums and entertainment areas. A private club just for residents will offer a cinema, bar and wine cellar.
Other public areas will provide sports facilities such as tennis courts, golf simulators and a boxing ring, spa and wellness centers and a commercial street lined with luxury boutiques, dining and cafes.
A pool club, open to the general public, will celebrate the Mediterranean lifestyle with an infinity pool, indoor heated pool, solarium and ice cream parlor.
Design Hills Dolce&Gabbana Marbella is the third branded project in the area from Sierra Blanca Estates, who worked on it with The One Atelier, a branded residence designer and coordinator.
The two previously partnered on creating EPIC Marbella furnished by Fendi Casa and the Karl Lagerfeld Villas Marbella.
Dolce&Gabbana also have more real estate projects in the works – a residential and hotel tower in Miami and a hotel in the Maldives.
Design Hills Dolce&Gabbana Marbella is projected to be completed in 2026, with a show flat slated for 2025.
