Get a glimpse of tomorrow in new issue of Luxury Portfolio magazine

The latest issue of Luxury Portfolio magazine, the publication of Luxury Portfolio International, is out now.

Volume 14, Issue 1 explores a myriad of forward-thinking topics involving luxury homes and lifestyles, as embodied in the stylish space by McCroskey Interiors adorning the cover.

“In this issue we wanted to find out what’s on the horizon for the world of luxury, and discovered numerous ways, both big and small, that changes are being made and imaginations are being sparked,” said Lisa Klein Powers, managing editor of Luxury Portfolio.

“We have so much to look forward to, from the adoption of inventive sustainability efforts and ways of living to fresh vacations and hobbies that are just plain fun.”

The magazine focuses on many aspects of the luxury sphere, from real estate and design to travel and lifestyle. The new March 2024 issue examines how innovators and tastemakers across these sectors are moving the dial forward.

Featured properties highlight the ways in which homes are blending the past, present and future. A 16th-century palazzo in Malta has a storied past that carries on into today, while a luxe, new ski cabin in Colorado was built with repurposed timber from historic Swiss counterparts. In Costa Rica, a second-home estate melds comfort with the country’s signature sustainability, and a South African manse has every imaginable amenity on hand.

Other real estate pieces look at buildings and parks that are being built to float right on the water, giving new life to coastal areas subject to sea level change, and a built-from-scratch community in Greece that is walkable, sustainable and set up for tech-assisted living.

Design articles give insight into the move towards transparency in the origins of raw materials used by luxury fashion labels, chic ways to conceal clutter and unsightly home necessities, and how renowned crystal maker Lalique is keeping its cachet alive through the centuries.

Travel inspiration includes wine-tasting in southern Croatia, a slew of unique ways to experience nature in Australia and a world tour of remote locales made easy by private jet.

The fun-filled lifestyle section delves into the inclusive world of pickleball and the age-old art of astrology, plus showcases a cornucopia of garden-inspired home goods to shop.

Also included in the new issue is expert advice from four columnists: Thomas Scott of Henley & Partners on obtaining foreign residency through real estate investments; Holly Hunt of House of Hunt on the new maximalist interior design ethos; Philippe Leboeuf of Raffles London at The OWO on converting a historic government building into a high-end hotel; and Johan Gyllenkrok of Christofle on etiquette for the modern host.

“This issue of Luxury Portfolio magazine — themed “On the Horizon” — elegantly captures innovative visions and trends through engaging articles which can inspire intriguing conversation at your next cocktail party,” said Jennifer Woodring, publisher of Luxury Portfolio.

“The articles are complemented by stunning Luxury Portfolio International listings from around the globe, allowing readers to envision the possibilities for their future in one of these exquisite properties,” she said. “With its coffee table-like presentation, this magazine serves as a stylish extension of home decor, and we hope readers proudly display it.”

Luxury Portfolio magazine is published biannually and distributed through the organization’s network of independent real estate brokerages all over the world, global airport lounges, and Barnes & Noble stores and other newsstands in the United States and Canada.
